Dr Zoe Stevens

BSc/MBBS, MPH, SCHP

Dr Zoe Stevens is a compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She has particular interest in women's health, children's health, and preventative medicine, and is known for her warm and supportive approach.

Dr Zoe graduated Medicine from the University of Queensland and holds a Master of Public Health. She has worked across New South Wales and Western Australia in hospital, community, mental health and primary care settings. She has extended skills training in sexual health and has completed the Sydney Child Health Program. Dr Zoe has a strong interest in supporting women through all stages of life. She provides contraception counselling and management, including Implanon insertion and removal, shared pregnancy care, postpartum care and menopause management. Dr Zoe also enjoys general medicine, preventative health, childhood developmental checks and mental health.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Zoe is also a Lecturer with the University of Newcastle medical program. She is committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development to ensure her patients receive up to date, high-quality care. Dr Zoe understands that many health concerns can be personal or sensitive and aims to create a welcoming and non-judgemental environment where patients feel comfortable.

Dr Zoe enjoys life in Newcastle with her young family and feels fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful community.
